The first question I get asked when writing a new book is where did you get the inspiration? A spark can be ignited by anything. I love to watch people, you don't have to recreate the wheel to find funny, heartfelt characters. Sometimes they are sitting at the table next to you at the local coffee shop. Sometimes in the grocery checkout. This week I'm getting inspiration from the scenery surrounding me at Lake Louise in Canada where I'm hanging out with fellow writer and good friend Melanie Summers. We've hiked, enjoyed high tea and sat in front of our bedroom window to put down words. This lake reminds me of my vision for Aspen Cove, where anything is possible.
